How do Parties Work?

Here’s how a party at First Avenue Rocks works:

• When your group arrives you’ll be greeted at the Front Desk and directed to our party room.  When your group has all arrived your party guide will do a brief orientation to make sure your group is checked-in and ready to go!
• Everybody gets equipped and fitted with their safety harness.
• Time  for climbing.
• Everybody gets plenty of climbs. Kids take turns trying to scale the climbing routes and complete challenges while our Guides and *Parent belayers manage the safety ropes. But what if somebody falls? Nothing at all, that’s half the fun! The guide holds the climber fast on the rope and leads the way.
• Spectators can watch, cheer, or take pictures.
• Your party can even be captured on film by our guides!

Two belayers are provided by First Avenue Rocks for your event.  Additional Parent Belayers must pass belay certification prior to event.  Contact us to set up an appointment.
