Ambassadors
Over the past 20 years, we at First Ave Rocks have worked VERY HARD at building relationships with landowners, organizations, and government officials to preserve and further our opportunities on the boulders and climbing areas throughout our state. As a gym we feel responsible to instill this value in our community to make sure that our outdoor endeavors continue for our lifetime and beyond. We are offering our members an opportunity to be part of our successes as well as continue the necessary effort with our First Ave Ambassador Program.
Requirements:
- Be an active member of First Avenue Rocks.
- take part in every Horse Pens Trail Day. (We have one coming up August 22).
- take part in other trail and planting days at Moss Rock, Palisades, Sand Rock, and Little River Canyon
- Be a positive influence at the boulders and crags in our state.
Benefits
- $2 off entry fee and discounted camping at HP40. Ambassador Card and Picture ID required at check in no expections (if you know Mike, you understand this part).
- VIP status at all Ambassador Events
- 30% off one bouldering gear purchase a season (fall, winter, spring, summer).

- failure to meet requirements
- being an idiot at the crag
- jeopardizing access to sensitive areas
- being a member of 8a.nu
- failure to follow the Southern Way values that have made climbing in Alabama a special experience.
